DESCRIPTION:
This former School House and it's numerous outbuildings were built in 1883, mainly of local granite and stone. It has been beautifully renovated to an exceptional standard in the modern minimalist style with kind regard to it's many original features. This building has a beautiful victorian roof with decorative gable ends. The roof was recently replaced with new traditional uneven slates, new lead flashing and guttering. Presently being on one level, there is a large traditional oak beamed vaulted roof that spans half of the property that could be used to add additional rooms above. Underfloor central heating has been installed throughout the house leaving no radiators or other means of heating visible thus maximizing space and reducing drafts. The plot itself is a generous rectangle with no immediate properties adjoined and is fully enclosed within the original victorian playground walls. To one side is the village common, to the rear is a small farmers track leading to the other side which is a large farmers field.
